General English Language Course in Ireland
The General English Language Training course is designed to enrich language skills, enabling teachers to enhance their proficiency in English for everyday social and professional communication. Language classes are conducted by native speakers.
Description
The General English Language Training course is a comprehensive and immersive language program designed to enhance teachers' proficiency in English for both everyday social and professional communication. This course aims to equip educators with the linguistic skills necessary to interact confidently and effectively with students, colleagues, and friends in diverse settings.
The training places a strong emphasis on developing oral skills, which are often the most challenging for students. The diverse groups, composed of educators from different countries, and specialties, create an ideal environment to enhance both oral competencies: comprehension and production. Written skills will also be addressed throughout the course.
During the course, we will particularly focus on improving oral abilities, as these are typically the most difficult to practice alone at home. The heterogeneous groups offer a unique opportunity to develop oral comprehension and production skills in a dynamic and enjoyable setting. Fun is guaranteed!
Written competencies are also a significant part of the curriculum. Students will receive valuable tips to enhance their writing and comprehension skills, using authentic materials such as newspapers, magazines, and brochures. Our goal is to ensure you enjoy the experience while benefiting from the diverse perspectives of your fellow students. This cultural exchange is incredibly enriching!
It is ideal for teachers, students, and other education professionals who require English to engage meaningfully in their professional environments. The program is open to participants of all English proficiency levels, from A1 (Elementary) to C1 (Advanced), ensuring that everyone can benefit from and contribute to the learning experience.

Practical Learning: Students will engage in real-life communication scenarios inside and outside the classroom. The focus is on outdoor practice in everyday settings such as supermarkets, post offices, and public transport.
Functional Approach: Emphasis is not on grammar rules and practice, which can be done at home, but on practical, real-life examples through various activities and resources, leveraging participants' teaching experience.
Oral Skills Focus: Activities will target communication skills, practiced individually, in pairs, and in groups, using resources like TV shows and radio podcasts. Exam preparation will also be included to familiarize participants with the format and expectations.
Our experienced trainer will facilitate networking and collaboration among participants. We organize cultural and networking activities to provide opportunities for exchanging best practices and establishing professional connections. These activities will involve not only course participants but also attendees from other courses offered by the company. The training is structured to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to create and manage successful proposals.
