Description

This Erasmus course is designed to empower educators with cutting-edge techniques that blend neuroscience and inclusive education principles. Over five intensive days, participants will understand how the brain learns and how to apply this knowledge to create dynamic, inclusive, and engaging classrooms.

  1. Understanding Neuro-Pedagogy: The course begins by exploring the fundamentals of neuro-pedagogy, including how brain functions such as neuroplasticity, memory, and emotion impact learning. Educators will learn to leverage these insights to enhance teaching effectiveness, making lessons more resonant and impactful.
  2. Inclusive Education Techniques: The course's core focus is inclusive education, with strategies to support neurodiverse learners, including students with ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and other learning differences. It also covers culturally responsive teaching, ensuring that educators can meet the needs of students from all backgrounds.

Learning objectives

  1. Understand the Fundamentals of Neuro-Pedagogy:
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of how the brain processes information, including concepts like neuroplasticity, memory formation, and the role of emotions in learning.
  • Learn how these neurological principles can be applied to create more effective and engaging teaching practices that enhance student learning outcomes.
  1. Develop Strategies for Inclusive Education:
    • Learn to identify and address the diverse learning needs of students, particularly those with learning differences such as ADHD, dyslexia, and autism.
    • Understand the principles of neurodiversity and culturally responsive teaching, ensuring that all students feel valued and supported in the classroom.
    • Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes equity, participation, and access to learning for every student.
  2. Implement Multi-Sensory Teaching Approaches:
