"How to be a Sustainable School" is an Erasmus+ course designed to equip educators, administrators, and school staff with the knowledge and skills needed to transform their educational institutions into models of sustainability.

This comprehensive program explores practical strategies for integrating sustainable practices into school operations, curriculum, and community engagement.
Participants will learn from experts in the field, collaborate with international peers, and develop actionable plans to implement in their own schools.
Through a blend of theoretical learning and hands-on activities, this course aims to foster a culture of environmental stewardship and social responsibility within the educational sector.
Learning objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the principles of sustainability and their relevance to educational settings.
- Evaluate the current sustainability practices of their institutions and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement a sustainability action plan tailored to their school’s specific needs.
- Integrate sustainability concepts into the curriculum across different subjects and grade levels.
