The vast majority of teachers are digital immigrants, who grew up in the era of prints and television. The modern educational environment relies heavily on digital technology. The main goal of the course for the participants is to think about and handle digital equipment more consciously, thereby increasing the effectiveness of their usage in educational work.
Description
The "Digital Awareness and Educational Efficiency" course equips participants with essential skills to integrate technology effectively in educational settings. It fosters digital awareness, helping educators become more conscious and confident in using their digital devices. Through an exploration of common hardware and software tools, participants will deepen their technical knowledge, enhancing trust in their technology. The course encourages creativity by refining skills in office software and online apps, empowering educators to innovate in their teaching. Collaborative skills are also a focus, with training on teamwork, task delegation, and conflict management. Additionally, participants will share and discuss tech-related challenges and solutions, fostering a community of learning and best practices.
Learning objectives
- Increased digital awareness: Participants will develop a more conscious view of computer-based educational technologies, gaining confidence in the use of their own digital equipment
- Increased technical knowledge and trust: Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the most common current era hardware and software environments, used for educational purposes. Knowing more about their gadgets will also increase their trust towards them.

Certification details
The Learning Agreement sample includes all course details (skills, objectives, outcomes, timetable). Upon completion, participants receive a certificate of attendance, and their Learning Agreement Complement or Europass Mobility Certificate will be signed. The course meets European Commission Quality Standards, e.g., "a day of physical course activities includes at least five hours of learning activities" and "the course setup provides opportunities to meet peers from other countries."
