Day 1: Understanding the Landscape of Bullying:
- Defining bullying and its various forms (physical, verbal, relational, cyberbullying)
- Exploring the root causes and contributing factors of bullying behavior
- Examining the impact of bullying on individuals, schools, and communities
Day 2: Identifying and Responding to Bullying:
- Recognizing the signs and signals of bullying victimization and perpetration
- Developing effective strategies for reporting and documenting bullying incidents
- Implementing appropriate interventions to stop bullying behaviors and support all involved
Day 3: Creating a Positive School Climate:
- Fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusion
- Promoting positive relationships and social-emotional learning
- Implementing school-wide programs to prevent bullying and promote positive behavior
Day 4: Empowering Students as Upstanders:
- Understanding the bystander effect and the role of peer influence
