AI-Enhanced Pedagogy: Future-Ready Education
Artificial Intelligence is reshaping education. Are you ready? This course demystifies AI tools for the classroom, focusing on personalized learning, automated feedback, and enhancing creativity. Learn how to leverage AI ethically and effectively to prepare your students for a future-ready world.
Description
Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming the educational landscape. This course is designed to move beyond the hype and provide educators with a practical, pedagogy-first approach to using AI in the classroom. We focus not just on the "what," but on the "why" and "how" of leveraging AI to enhance teaching and learning.
Explore AI tools for personalizing student learning paths, creating dynamic and adaptive assessments, automating administrative tasks to save time, and sparking student creativity. We will also engage in critical discussions about the ethical implications of AI in education. This is not a technical coding course; it's a guide for visionary educators.
Learning objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify and evaluate a range of AI tools suitable for enhancing classroom instruction and saving time.
- Design personalized learning activities and assessments using AI-powered platforms.
- Utilize AI to automate feedback and support the development of student writing and research skills.
- Critically analyze the ethical implications and potential biases of using AI in education.
- Create a strategic plan for integrating AI-enhanced pedagogy into their specific subject area.
Methodology & assessment
Assessment is based on active participation and the creation of a practical "AI Integration Plan" for a specific unit or lesson, outlining the tools to be used and the pedagogical rationale. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
This is a hands-on, BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) course. All AI tools demonstrated are selected for their accessibility and free availability for educators. Participants will receive a digital guide with prompts, ethical guidelines, and tutorials for each tool. Access to a shared online space for continuing to explore and discuss new AI tools will be granted to all attendees after the course.
Certification details
Upon successful completion of the course, all participants will receive a formal Certificate of Attendance from Erasmus Mobility Academy. The certificate will officially state: the participant's full name, the full course title, the course dates and location, the main topics covered, and the total number of educational hours (25 hours), corresponding to this application form. The document will be signed by the head trainer and will serve as proof of participation for the Erasmus+ Programme.
