Presentation to an ERASMUS delegation from Luxembourg.
The MATh.en.JEANS workshop from the Lycée classique de Diekirch, on an ERASMUS mobility trip to Pertuis, met its counterpart from the Lycée Val de Durance. The young people from the two research workshops were able to discuss their respective subjects and approaches. The six Luxembourg pupils, accompanied by their two maths teachers, were very curious about the work of the final-year pupils and asked many questions about the three subjects presented. This meeting was an enriching opportunity for young Europeans to exchange ideas on mathematics, encouraging the sharing of knowledge and the development of genuine scientific collaboration. These exchanges helped to strengthen the links between the two schools and to promote the importance of research in mathematics in a European context.
