eTwinning; It is a platform that helps you develop your skills, expand your professional network, and improve your students' skills. Therefore; ETwinning spirit is based on mutual understanding and respect. In ETwinning events, messages, posts and any posted content the following general principles must be followed:

It should be inclusive. Everyone's ideas and perspectives are always welcome and allowed to express them.
Other eTwinning users should not be hurt individually.
To people; They should not be attacked or incited to violence against them because of their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation and / or membership in a country, group or minority.
At ETwinning we do our best to protect people from abuse and spam, but as an active and pluralistic community we rely on you to help us maintain a positive attitude and reduce unwanted incidents.

Users who do not follow this Code of Conduct will receive a warning and in some cases will be banned from the platform.

Therefore; If necessary, we ask you to report such situations.

Receive a private message or view such content if you encounter posts, events or comments on the Logs and Forums that you find offensive, infringing or inappropriate; You can use the "Report" button and share your reporting reasons. Your message will be handled by Support Services.

Here are the rules that all eTwinners must follow:

1. Abuse of the internal messaging system

Avoid sending too many messages to teachers you aren't working with. Before communicating with a user: check their profile; see if it is suitable for projects; Make sure your message is relevant. Don't send the exact same messages to too many eTwinners.

2. Use of eTwinning for commercial purposes

The use of the platform for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited. Any company, entrepreneur, event or commercial software will be removed and their access to the platform will be blocked.

3. Unsolicited e-mails in sessions (Spam)

Thousands of messages are posted from eTwinning Live partner forums. Make sure your message is relevant to the subject of the title. Before publishing a new post, check for and reply to any other relevant messages. Help us keep the forums relevant to improve collaboration!

4. Irrelevant and inappropriate comments about people's messages

When posting a comment on someone else's profile, make sure that the comment is appropriate for the user. Comments should be for individuals and related to the user's message. Don't write the same comment to too many users.

5.Random contact requests and project invitations

Avoid asking eTwinners to be your contact person or join your project without prior communication. Make sure you have a logical and manageable number of contacts on your list. Would you like to follow other people's updates? Follow them instead.

6. Event invitations

If you are unsure that these colleagues can attend, avoid inviting your contacts to events you organize. Random invitations to events organized at your school are considered spam.

7.Direct threats, cyberbullying and harassment

eTwinning does not tolerate cyberbullying and harassment. If you are a victim of cyberbullying or someone threatens you, report the message or contact your National Support Service. Anyone who cyber bullies or harasses other members of the platform can be permanently banned from eTwinning.

 

8.Intellectual property

Make sure that the content you upload to the platform does not infringe any copyrights. Before sharing any pictures, videos, documents or other resources; please make sure you have the right to do this. The eTwinning platform cannot host videos - you must first upload your video to YouTube, DailyMotion or Vimeo and paste the corresponding link to eTwinning. Don't forget to check copyright policies too.

9.Identity theft

You may not impersonate other individuals or groups / groups that you do not represent in a way that is intended to mislead, confuse or deceive others.

10. Students (minors)

eTwinning takes students' privacy and safety seriously. Avoid posting pictures of students on your eTwinning Live profile, TwinSpace, Groups etc. If you need to post, make sure you have their parents' consent and that students are not recognizable.

11.Private information and Sensitive data

Be careful when posting content that interests others. You must not share personal information such as personal phone numbers and addresses, credit card details or other private information, or personal information or private photos and videos of other eTwinners. Always think before posting

 

12. COPYRIGHT: Information about copyright was given at our meetings. When takeing images from search engines, it is necessary to take non-copyrighted images or to choose sites with non-copyrighted images. In the use of music, etc., music and applications that do not have copyright should be preferred.
