"From Gadgets to Green: A Journey on E-Waste"

Electronic waste, commonly known as "e-waste," refers to discarded electronic devices and electrical equipment that have reached the end of their useful life or are no longer wanted. E-waste includes a wide range of electronic and electrical products, such as computers, smartphones, tablets, televisions, printers, digital cameras, and other consumer electronics, as well as industrial and medical equipment. E-waste is a significant and growing environmental and health concern for several reasons such as toxic components , waste volüme , improper disposal and resource depletion. Creating an e- Twinning project focused on waste is a great way to raise awareness about environmental issues and engage students in a meaningful learning experience.

Thanks for Everyting

As an e-twinning team, we are very happy to take part in this beautiful project. In fact, rather than a simple project, doing things that will help the bleeding wounds of our world; It makes us very happy to create an awareness about e-waste and take action, to create a structure that will be left as a legacy in addition to what we learn and apply.

We created an e-waste culture in our school by creating a public opinion with the promotions we made in our school and with the informative panels we created.
Our turkey map, which we made from the pieces evaluated as turkey, attracted a lot of attention and was developed in line with the ideas of students and teachers.

During this time, I would like to personally thank all my students who took part in every moment of the process.

Thanks For All

We are happy to take part in this project with our team. Some of the information about the waste was surprising. During the project, we both learned and tried to teach.
He tried to spread the project to our school. Our e-waste collection campaign attracted great attention. We created usable upcycled products such as jewelry, watches and organizers from some of the waste we collected. We exhibited these in the school exhibition.

We presented the project completion certificates to the students working on the project with a ceremony.

I would like to thank all our project stakeholders.

GREAT PROJECT

The "From Gadgets to Green" project aims to educate the community on how to properly dispose of their old electronic devices and contribute to the recycling process. Additionally, we see that this project collaborates with technology companies and manufacturers to contribute to the development of more environmentally friendly production processes and products.

About eTwinning Day

eTwinning day is celebrated on May 9 every year. Let's organize an event on behalf of the project. This will be collaborative work.
