"From Gadgets to Green: A Journey on E-Waste"

Electronic waste, commonly known as "e-waste," refers to discarded electronic devices and electrical equipment that have reached the end of their useful life or are no longer wanted. E-waste includes a wide range of electronic and electrical products, such as computers, smartphones, tablets, televisions, printers, digital cameras, and other consumer electronics, as well as industrial and medical equipment. E-waste is a significant and growing environmental and health concern for several reasons such as toxic components , waste volüme , improper disposal and resource depletion. Creating an e- Twinning project focused on waste is a great way to raise awareness about environmental issues and engage students in a meaningful learning experience.

About eTwinning Day

eTwinning day is celebrated on May 9 every year. Let's organize an event on behalf of the project. This will be collaborative work.

ABOUT APRIL ACTIVITY

April-1 : E-Waste and Art

   Recycling/upcycling products will be created with the e-waste collected within the scope of the project.

Activity: Take videos/photos while creating the works. Upload the videos/photos you took to the April 1 page on twinboard.

   Slogans about e-waste are prepared and bookmarks are made from the slogans.

The subject of electronic waste recycling was divided into 6 subheadings. Each subheading was shared among the teams using the "Team maker" tool. Each team will research its own topic. The research results will be collected in an ebook.

What/How to Do: Do research on your topic. Determine which images you will use regarding the topic. Organize research results as a team. And the student who is the Jan-1 team captain will upload the results to the ebook.
