Today was a special day: my students met their new friends from the Bee My Friend project for the very first time! 🥰🌍
Excitement was in the air! They started by greeting everyone in Turkish and Greek, warmly welcoming the other students. Then, wearing their bee masks 🐝, they proudly presented their work, showing great creativity and enthusiasm. The other children also shared their wonderful projects, making the meeting even more special.
It was a moment of exchange, friendship, and discovery, making us feel part of a big international family! 💛🌍 We can't wait to continue this journey together! 🚀

🐝 Second Student Meeting: Learning About Bees with Kahoot! 🌍✨
Today, my students gathered for the second international meeting of our eTwinning project! This time, we explored the fascinating world of bees through a fun and interactive Kahoot! quiz in English. 🧠🎮
🐝 Why bees? These amazing pollinators play a vital role in our ecosystem, and our students are learning how to protect them. Through this quiz, they discovered fun facts about their life, importance, and the challenges they face.
🌟 The excitement was high as students from different countries competed, tested their knowledge, and improved their English skills in a playful way. Most importantly, they strengthened their sense of global collaboration while having fun!

🌍📚 Third International Student Meeting – Creative Bookmark Workshop! 🐝❤️
Today, our students had the wonderful opportunity to join an online meeting with teacher Sule and her class! 👩🏫✨ During the session, Sule’s students led a fantastic tutorial on how to create bee-shaped bookmarks. 🐝📖
It was a great experience of collaboration, creativity, and learning in English! Our students followed the instructions carefully and enjoyed making their own bookmarks. 🎨✂️

🌍 Fourth meeting of our project: young citizens in action! 🌱
Today, our students joined the fourth session of the project and reflected together on the meaning of Earth Day. After a short discussion on how we can take care of our planet every day, each child chose three commitment words to add to our shared Mentimeter.

These are just some of the beautiful words that filled our virtual word cloud — a clear sign of growing awareness and responsibility, one meeting at a time. 💚

Today we celebrated our 6th student meeting — and what better day than World Bee Day to connect, learn, and share together?
Our Bee Friends from different countries came together once again to celebrate bees, friendship, and teamwork! 🐝🌸
We watched each other’s videos, sang, smiled, and felt united in our mission to protect nature and spread kindness.

🌍💻 Sixth and final online meeting: a heartfelt goodbye! 💖👋
Today we had the sixth and final online meeting of our wonderful international project. It was a truly special moment, full of smiles, greetings, and joy as the children met once again—this time to say goodbye.
🎥 The children, now confident and familiar with our video calls, shared memories, kind words, and thank-yous. Some showed drawings, others read short messages, and many simply said "thank you" in all the languages of the project!
💬 “I will miss you!” – “It was so nice to meet you all” – “I hope we’ll see each other again!”
🌟 What a beautiful way to end this amazing journey together!

Today, we came together with students and teachers and made a bee bookmark. We all made a bee bookmark together at the meeting. The children really enjoyed making the bookmark with their friends. 🐝🐝🐝

We created a huge Mentimeter in the meeting we had with the children. I was once again amazed by the creativity and intelligence of the children.

Today, we had our third student meeting in the Bee My Friend project! 🎉✨ Teacher Süle guided us step by step in creating a beautiful bee-themed bookmark. 📖🐝💛
It was a wonderful moment of creativity and collaboration! The students had so much fun designing their bookmarks, and we are excited to see everyone's final creations. 🎨✂️

🌍 Class 5A Speaks Up for Earth Day! 🌱
As part of the fourth meeting of our international project, the students of Class 5A took a moment to focus on something that matters to all of us: our planet.
In preparation for Earth Day, the children were invited to think about their personal role in protecting nature. They each chose three powerful words that reflect their commitment to making the world a better place — and shared them using Mentimeter, creating a colorful and inspiring word cloud.
🗣️ Words like care, breathe, respect filled the screen.
🌳 Others wrote trees, clean-up, protect.
💧 Some chose reuse, save water, no waste.
These words may be small, but together they send a big message:
🌎 We are young, but we can take action. We are ready to help the Earth.
The activity was not just about vocabulary — it was about values. The students of Class 5A reminded us all that real change starts with awareness, and awareness starts with a word.

🌐✨ Final Online Gathering – Together One Last Time 🧒🌍👧
Today marked the last chapter of our online adventure. In this sixth and final meeting, the children from different countries came together one last time, not to work on an activity… but to say goodbye.
💬 With warm smiles and waving hands, they shared what they loved most, what they learned, and what they will carry in their hearts. From drawings to kind words, from laughter to a few tears, it was clear: bonds were made, even across the screen.
🕊️ Though the project ends, the friendships, the memories, and the sense of connection will stay with us.
