Digital tools

Throughout the “Artful Minds, Creative Spirits” project, a rich variety of digital tools were seamlessly integrated into our collaborative and creative activities, enhancing both the learning experience and international cooperation. These tools empowered students and teachers to communicate, co-create, and share their work across borders in engaging and innovative ways. From visual storytelling to collaborative songwriting, technology served as a bridge that connected young learners and educators from Greece, Spain, and Turkey.

We used Canva to design collaborative poems, posters, and presentations, while Genially supported dynamic, interactive school introductions. Padlet provided a shared space for teacher presentations and our “Plant Your Poem” activity. For audio projects, including our collaborative song, we used Audacity, Suno AI, and Google Docs, blending creativity with digital literacy. Ice-breaking games were made interactive and fun through Wordwall, Jigsaw, and LearningApps. Virtual art galleries were created in Artsteps, while Office Publisher and Book Creator allowed children to publish their own little books and stories, inspired by Freinet pedagogy. We used YouTube for project dissemination and Google Forms to gather project evaluations. To showcase our commitment to SDG 4 – Quality Education – we used Gamma AI to design a final reflective presentation.

These digital tools not only supported our STEAM and SDG-focused learning objectives but also nurtured vital 21st-century skills such as creativity, communication, and collaboration. The thoughtful use of technology made it possible to foster emotional connection and cultural exchange in a joyful, developmentally appropriate way for young children.
