The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
The 17 SDGs are integrated—they recognize that action in one area will affect outcomes in others, and that development must balance social, economic and environmental sustainability. Tenerife is one of the eight Canary Islands, considered EU peripheral region. During the four days training in Tenerife the participants will discover the actions and projects that Tenerife is following towards gender equity, accessibility, regenerative economy, good health and well-being, and renewable energies.

Learning objectives
- To establish long term cooperation with hosting companies and institutions for the future mobilities and projects of participants.
To disseminate the result of the learning outcome as a teaching material for the students and to engage new students into sustainability actions. - To learn about Canary Islands implementation of the SDGs and specifically Tenerife as a sustainable destination.
- Develop a sense of social responsibility towards environmental issues and take action to create a change in society.
- Acquire knowledge of environmental management and develop skills to manage sustainable environmental projects.
- Acquire knowledge about outdoor education, nature-based learning.
