Description

This 5-day English course is ideal for teachers and staff of educational institutions who would like to improve their knowledge of the English language and learn, in a creative way, about the Spanish lifestyle. The course includes immersive outdoor/indoor activities: visits to different sites around the class area, speaking lessons in real life scenarios, team building, life/work balance, and mindfulness practices.

Complimentary to immersive activities, this course involves small group native English teaching; enhancing the development of listening, speaking, reading, and writing

Learning objectives

Actively and confidently use basic vocabulary and grammar, through practical learning in conversations:

Improve understanding and listening skills
Learn grammar and sentence structures
Be instructed on how to properly pronounce words and complex sentences
Become familiar with technical English for professional activity

Methodology & assessment

- Speaking will be an integral part of lessons. Students are given the opportunity to express their ideas in a relaxed classroom atmosphere, by use of a range of activities to encourage communication.
- Grammar for effective communication will be presented and practised at all levels.
- Vocabulary is a key element in learning a foreign language. Various activities to encourage the acquisition of vocabulary are an integral part of the course.
