In a multitasking, permanently connected world, we deem crucial to work with our pupils on the respect of human rights and other people’s culture, to promote a democratic environment and responsible citizenship, through innovative and cooperative teaching methods. Education should focus on such issues like tolerance, religious freedom, children’s, women’s and refugees’ rights, labor rights, international justice, abolition of slavery, fight against racism- just to mention some- to make human rights an integral part of everyday school life and life, to promote a democratic environment and responsible citizenship. So this Project aims at building a culture of human rights, to empower young people and promote their active participation to integrate human rights values and principles into all areas of their life and school life, through motivating and collaborative teaching methods.
