Our Students are MAD

We will create situations for encouraging explicitly fostered imagination and challenges by allowing the students to explore their own opinions and solutions within the guided activities. This will include but not be limited to , special speakers with real life experience in the target topics, historical and cultural context, Activitiess and tasks that require research, discussion and debate and providing intellectual challenges. What does this mean for a more peaceful world? I would argue that, just as the habit of independent and critical thought provides a manner of protection for democracy, prioritizing imagination in education can significantly contribute to solving the common problems we all face. One example, in the classroom, these students might become leaders or leaders in the community and as in some classrooms where students have undertaken these type of projects, teach other students or participate in local politics or even more.
