The purpose of this project is for students to take photos or videos of monuments, traditional art, buildings, paving, tessellations, exhibits in museums of their city, in which there are mathematical properties, symmetries and mathematical objects. The students will be also encouraged to make their own works of art. The pedagogical purpose of this project is to develop methods of learning mathematics in an easy and fun way. It is also intended students to get knowledge on the historical and cultural contexts of the partners. Other advantages will be the use of English as a second language, understanding of the value of collaborating in an equal way and realizing that maths have generated through life, and to become familiar with the use of eTwinning and other communicative tools.
