‘"Absorbing culture is not enough, one must produce it. Enjoying the arts is not enough, one must be an artist. To be a citizen doesn’t mean to live in society, but to transform it. With your head held high, your feet on the ground and hands at work". The general objective of this project is to identify and support innovative approaches to foster active citizenship for European countries as an inclusive education using cartoons as an educational method. The theme, active citizenship education should be more effective at schools because in an increasingly interdependent world our connections to different cultures and communities can contribute to conflict, inequality and disempowerment. And as a sustainable development movement, for economic improvement and sustainable communities, the project will draw attention to social, environmental and cultural issues with the importance of the financial activities of a social enterprise.
