First aid is for everyone, everywhere. All we need to know is how to properly provide it. You can never be prepared enough for the emergency situations. This project is going to change that! Students often don’t consider the importance of basic first aid skills and they don’t know how to react in high-pressure environments. Our project aims to educate secondary school students in different schools about first aid and workplace safety rules in different European countries. Students collaborate online to improve their foreign language skills as well as their ability to work as a team within an international group. They are encouraged to express themselves, to present the results of their work, to participate in discussions, and to share information about first aid and workplace safety rules in their countries. The project will help young people react quickly and effectively in life-threatening situations. Because when a heart stops, every second counts.
