The course will help educators develop key skills in their students — curiosity, creativity, criticism, communication, collaboration, compassion, composure, and citizenship — and apply these in their teaching practices.

The course aims to integrate Sir Ken Robinson’s 8Cs into the educational practices of participants, fostering creativity and innovation in their teaching methods. The course will help educators develop key skills in their students — curiosity, creativity, criticism, communication, collaboration, compassion, composure, and citizenship — and apply these in their teaching practices.
Through hands-on, experiential learning, teachers not only understand the theoretical basis of these skills but also practice using them in ways that they can adapt and apply in their own educational contexts.
Learning objectives
- Provide a deep understanding of Sir Ken Robinson’s 8Cs and their importance in 21st-century education.
- Develop practical strategies to incorporate the 8Cs into various subjects and educational activities.
- Enhance personal competencies in each of the 8Cs to model these behaviours for students.
- Foster a school culture that values and promotes these competencies.
- Equip teachers with practical tools and strategies to develop the 8Cs in their students.
- Foster innovative teaching methods that support personalised learning.
- Enhance participants’ capacity to create a classroom environment that nurtures creativity and critical thinking.

Methodology & assessment
- Collaborative Projects: Co-designing lessons, projects, and strategies.
- Reflection and Sharing: Daily reflections, group discussions, and peer learning.
- Cultural Immersion: Exploration of local education practices (optional cultural tours).
Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
Participants must bring their own laptop or tablet and basic headphones. There will be a course-specific website for the course. Here you will find all teaching materials, digital tools and the practical tasks and exercises for the course participants.
Certification details
80% attendance is mandatory.
The certificate is issued on the last day of the course.

Course package content:
The course fee includes the 6-day course. Accommodation, inner-city transportation and meals are not included in the fee. We are happy to provide recommendations for hotels and Airbnb near the course location. A guided city tour is part of the course.

Cancellation & changes:
If the participant cancels the course more than 30 days before the start of the course, all fees will be refunded. If the participant cancels the course between 30 and 7 days before the start of the course, the fee will be refunded in the form of a voucher for future courses. If the participant cancels 7 days before the start of the course, the course fee will not be refunded.
