SPORTFORUM Mals is a sports seminar offering a wide range of practical and theoretical classes in individual and team sports, as well as workshops, speeches, and sessions on current topics and sports. Each day consists of 6 units with 9-10 sessions, plus evening programs, tournaments, cultural visits, and excursions.
Description
Sportforum Mals is a leading international seminar for sports educators, coaches, and physical education experts. Held every 2 years since 2007 in Mals in South Tyrol (Nothern Italy). It provides a platform for knowledge exchange, professional development, and innovative teaching methods. The program includes theoretical lectures, hands-on workshops, and expert discussions on sports science, training methodologies, and sustainability in sports.
Participants gain practical insights, networking opportunities, and strategies applicable in their fields. The seminar fosters international collaboration, enabling educators to exchange ideas and explore future trends in sports education. Sportforum Mals offers an inspiring environment for learning, discussion, and the development of new approaches in physical education and coaching.
Learning objectives
- Improving Skills in Sports Education and Coaching: We plan to improve the professional development of our future sports teachers and coaches through training abroad. This experience will help them understand different ways of teaching sports and diverse sports practices, pedagogies and inclusive methods, contributing to the growth and development of grassroots sports education.
- Learning About Community Sports from other countries: Our second objective is our participants to get in touch with other coaches and sport enthusiasts from all over the world and learn from them how community-level sports are promoted in their countries. International Collaborations and friendships: With this project we wish our participants to form long-lasting connections with sports professionals from other countries.
Inclusivity in Sports Education and Training: With the participation at this seminar the students and sports staff will learn about more inclusive and accessible sports programs.

Sportforum Mals provides a diverse range of high-quality learning resources to enhance the educational experience of participants. These include printed seminar materials and digital materials to all the lessons available afterwards on a shared cloud for the participants.
Additionally, our website and social media channels serve as key resources for accessing event updates. Participants also benefit from access to expert networks to support their professional development beyond the seminar.

Before April, 30th 2026: € 650.-
After May, 01st 2026: € 700.-The fee includes accomodation, meals, course fee, course materials, social programme, course pictures
Accomodation in tourist/standard rooms (possibility for upgrade to a higher accomodation).
