A melting pot of food, culture and health

The project will try to combine the pleasure of tasty food with culture and health. What does this mean? Through the analysis of eating habits and local food products students will have the chance to deal with geographical, social, cultural, health-related aspects. They will reflect on the importance of enhancing local products and get used to giving value to farm-to-farm and sustainable development concepts. They should understand that it is important to maintain the right balance between globalization and local traditions and that every country should be the custodian of its own "treasure" deriving from its unique geographical and cultural identity. They will also realize that "We are what we eat". They will enjoy knowing different realities and people: at the end of the path, they wiil definitely feel wealthier.
