Through culture and tradition to new friendships

Knowledge of the history and cultural heritage of other cultures promotes intercultural respect, reduces prejudice, facilitates international cooperation, encourages cultural exchange and contributes to the development of global citizenship. This is crucial for building bridges and friendships between different communities and promoting peace and cooperation at international level. The project will include students aged 12-15. During the project, students will explore their own culture and compare it with that of their peers from abroad. They will learn about their own and other cultures and traditions through a variety of tasks based on their own and others' cultures and traditions. This includes creating artworks, making short films and performing traditional dances or songs. At the end of the project, we will organise a pupil exchange (pupils from Serbia will come to Slovenia).
