Use your Heart: Developing Soft Skills through eTwinning This long-term eTwinning project, running from 2023 to 2025, aims to develop soft skills in students. Soft skills are the non-academic skills that are essential for success in life, such as communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking. The project will involve students from different countries working together on a variety of activities. These activities will be designed to develop soft skills in a fun and engaging way. Some of the activities that students will participate in include: Practicing foreign languages. Students will use foreign languages to communicate with each other and to collaborate on projects. Creating New Year's cards. Students will design and create New Year's cards for each other. This will help them to develop their creativity and communication skills. Creating videos about their communities and schools. Students will create videos about their communities and schools. This will help them to develop their research skills and their ability to communicate effectively. Participating in Skype calls with students from other countries. Students will participate in Skype calls with students from other countries. This will help them to develop their communication and collaboration skills. Performing plays. Students will perform plays for each other. This will help them to develop their creativity and their ability to work as a team. Creating comic strips. Students will create comic strips about their experiences in the project. This will help them to develop their creativity and their ability to communicate effectively. Class counseling. Students will hold class counseling to discuss and solve the problems in the class and in the school. This will help them to develop their leadership skills and their ability to work together as a team. Giving speeches in their native languages. Students will give speeches in their native languages. This will help them to develop their confidence and their ability to communicate effectively. Dancing traditional dances. Students will learn and dance traditional dances and present them to other's countries. This will help them to develop their cultural awareness and their ability to work together as a team. The project is expected to have a positive impact on the soft skills of students. It will help them to develop the skills they need to be successful in life. Project Outcomes The project is expected to achieve the following outcomes: Students will develop their communication skills, including their ability to speak, listen, read, and write in foreign languages. Students will develop their collaboration skills, including their ability to work effectively with others to achieve common goals. Students will develop their problem-solving skills, including their ability to identify and solve problems in a creative and effective way. Students will develop their critical thinking skills, including their ability to evaluate information and make informed decisions. In addition to these specific outcomes, the project is also expected to have a positive impact on the overall well-being of students. It will help them to develop their confidence, their self-esteem, and their sense of belonging.
