Code of Mystery

As it is known, most of the students see mathematics as a difficult, complex and boring field. Scientific studies show that innovative and game-based teaching methods are very effective in reducing negative prejudices against mathematics and increasing motivation.Based on this fact, we prepared this project in which collaborative work will be carried out on the basis of gamification. In the first part of the project, students will first work in national teams to form part of a large digital escape game. After completing the game, mixed international teams will work to solve the crime incident, which is the subject of the escape game, by deciphering the mathematical clues. Thus, a common educational escape game and its solutions will be created. In the second half of the project, each national team will develop a unique encryption method with a mathematical algorithm, then all methods will be linked. Thus, a multi-stage, unique and common encryption method will be obtained.
