A Plataforma de Educação Escolar Europeia é o ponto de encontro para todas as partes interessadas no setor educativo escolar, tais como funcionários da escola, investigadores, decisores políticos e outros profissionais. A plataforma abrange todos os níveis desde educação e cuidados do ensino pré-escolar até à escola primária e secundária e inclui ensino e formação profissionais iniciais.
A plataforma inclui também o eTwinning, a comunidade para as escolas na Europa.
Damos-lhe as boas-vindas à Plataforma de Educação Escolar Europeia, a nova localização do eTwinning.
Esta primeira versão da plataforma fornece aos eTwinners os serviços principais para encontrar parcerias e desenvolver projetos. Recursos adicionais, que incluem a totalidade do conteúdo do School Education Gateway, irão estar disponíveis nos próximos meses. Entretanto, o eTwinning e o School Education Gateway irão permanecer online temporariamente.

The Day of European Authors on 27th March, is an initiative of the European Commission, led by Commissioner Gabriel, to reconnect younger generations with book reading and to help them discover the diversity of European literature.
