In the third course of the course series on Unlocking the Power of Teacher Digital Competence, we delve into innovative teaching and learning strategies. Digital technologies can enhance and improve teaching and learning practice in a number of ways. A key skill of teachers is to design learning with the use of digital technologies to help students to engage actively in authentic learning experiences. Advanced practice involves a shift from teacher-led to learner-centred activities.
Learning objectives
As a participant, you will:
- Select and use digital technologies in your learning designs, so as to meet teaching and learning aims,
- Select and employ digital technologies to provide opportunities for students to engage in self-assessment and peer-assessment and the design of their learning,
- Select and employ digital technologies in your learning designs based on their features, so as to enhance and support your students' collaborative learning, in face to face and/or online settings,
- Select and use digital technologies in your learning designs based on their features, so as to facilitate your students' self-regulated learning skills and learner autonomy,
- Select and use emerging technologies in your learning designs to engage your students in novel learning opportunities, while taking into account ethical implications.

Certification details
Upon successful completion of the course, a digital course certificate is awarded. The certificate shows the name of the learner and key course details such as the estimated learning hours, the learning objectives, and a link to the course homepage.
