Methodology & assessment
Extra Intensive English (1 week)
The key concept is communication. We use task based, collaborative and humanistic approaches to create a positive learning environment where the focus is on practical classroom activities. All aspects of English language skills are covered – speaking, listening, reading, writing and mediation, as well as pronunciation vocabulary and grammar activities through a variety of mediums.
Methodology (1 week)
Communicative Language Teaching
We look at ways CLT can be used to make learning meaningful as it emphasises the need for interaction. We show participants how to implement learning strategies to improve language acquisition and make learning purposeful. Classroom activities, such as role plays, interviews, games and surveys are completed in pairs and small groups, requiring debate, negotiation and compromise.
