Enhancing Classroom Discussions

This course offers a structured approach to productive classroom discussions and collaborative learning. Participants will grasp the 'reaction vs. response' concept for staying present. We emphasize critical thinking and active listening to enrich conversations. Students practice applying knowledge, developing perspectives, and consolidating learning.

Cultivating Critical Thinking and Mindfulness

This module focuses on critical thinking, problem-solving, and discerning facts from opinions. Mindfulness techniques, both in the classroom and in nature, promote a positive atmosphere. A present state of mind helps students evaluate arguments, create logical outlines, and connect ideas. Lessons will be split into theoretical parts and engaging practical exercises in particular.

Evaluation format:
Continuous assessment - continuous observation of participant’s activity

Evaluation criteria:
Preparation, level of engagement in class, listening, questioning and discussing, problem-solving, group/partner teamwork

Evaluation procedures:
The evaluation will take place in the hosting organization and will be conducted
by teacher trainers at the end of the course

Recognition conditions:
At least 80% of course attendance
