"Tradition on a Plate" is a collaborative eTwinning project that brings students together to explore and share their culinary heritage. Through this project, students will exchange handwritten letters, research and cook traditional recipes from their families, and learn about sustainable cooking practices by using local ingredients and minimizing food waste.Project Goals:✅ Discover and preserve traditional recipes from different European countries.✅ Improve communication skills through letter exchanges and reflections.✅ Encourage sustainable food choices and waste reduction.✅ Develop teamwork and digital skills by creating a shared digital cookbook.✅ Foster intercultural exchange between partner schools.Project Activities:📌 Letter Exchange – Students introduce themselves and share a family recipe via handwritten letters.📌 Recipe Selection & Cooking – Each school chooses a simple traditional dish and documents the cooking process.📌 Experience Sharing – Students reflect on their cooking experiences and discuss sustainability in food.📌 Digital Cookbook – Recipes and reflections are compiled into a GDPR-compliant digital book.This project provides a fun and engaging way for students to connect across cultures, develop valuable skills, and appreciate the richness of European culinary traditions.
