“Art speaks where words are unable to explain” Threadless Artist Mathiole. Nowadays we can see lots of murals everywhere in cities and villages as a way of drawing people’s attention to pertinent world problems that affect us all; embellishing a degraded area that after the intervention becomes a more attractive place to all sorts of people; creating a safer community, generating relationships between the community and businesses, and increasing economic revenue. The project involves pupils in discovering and doing activities about street art, with an eye on the UN Agenda 2030 SDGs messages.. Many disciplines are involved such as mother tongue, English, Geography, Art, and Technology. The big picture is a mission: to create a collaborative street art mural.
