Social skills training

In the primary school age, personal and social development is fast and important. Expectations from children also differ in the new school environment they have entered. The child is expected to play with other children and learn to interact with their peers as a social group. During the school period, the child should be able to show behaviors such as expressing his feelings and thoughts, knowing how to ask questions, listening to the other person and coping with difficult situations. Showing these behaviors expected from children depends on the development of some of their skills. These skills, which are necessary for the establishment of interpersonal relations, are called social skills.
