RULES OF OUR GAME 1

MATERIALS:

ECOSYSTEM GAME STEP BY STEP:

• A wire or cotton ball (at least 20m)
• Approximately 15 labels, each with the name of an organism in the ecosystem
For example, from a forest river ecosystem; rain, river, oak tree, soil, fish, frog, heron, water
otter, spider, fly, insect, bat, bee, squirrel, etc.

• Each student is given a label to attach to his or her collar or somewhere visible on his or her t-shirt.
• Each group is given a large ball.
• A student (e.g. a squirrel) holds the end of the string and passes the ball to another student (e.g. an oak tree), which
Explains the relationship between tags. (For example, squirrel eats acorns).
• Now, the “squirrel” holds the end of the string and the “oak tree” holds the ball.
• Then, the oak tree makes another explanation and gives the ball to a third child who holds the rope
(e.g. an oak tree needs rain to grow). Now two children's ropes at different points
and the third child catches the ball.
• The activity continues in this way by passing the ball, but each child tries to hold the rope.
continues. The child giving the rope makes a statement while passing the rope.
is required.
• Some elements, such as rivers and rain, have more than one relationship with others
It will happen. In this case, the child can hold the rope from 3 or 4 different places.
• In this way, a rope network will be created
