CLIMATE CHANGE AS A GLOBAL PROBLEM AND CLIMATE POLICIES Mehmet Özel- Selim Kılıç Journal of the Faculty of Political Sciences No:34 In recent years, there have been developments such as the repetition of situations that were not common in the seasons at short intervals, the deviation of seasonal characteristics, extreme heat and related drought, drying of lakes, and increased melting of polar ice caps. Increasingly, such events and the data obtained support that there is a change in the world climate. The main reason for this change is global warming. In order for individuals to be conscious and sensitive about an important issue such as climate change, which concerns all living things and the ecosystem, they must first have sufficient knowledge about it. For this reason, the activities carried out in our project will enable students to think about climate change and the effects of global warming and to develop their awareness for a sustainable world.
