Welcome to the Green Skills MOOC. It is really a great pleasure to welcome you on this learning journey and learn together with you for the next weeks until our final meeting in Valencia!

A Green Skills MOOC for students within an Erasmus project KA210 for VET (Vocational Education and Training) aims to provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to promote sustainable development and address environmental challenges in their respective professional fields of trainning or in their future jobs. Our objectives are:

  1. Developing awareness and understanding of sustainable development and its relevance to the learners' chosen fields of study or work.

  2. Introducing learners to green skills at school, at home and in today's society

  3. Providing learners with practical knowledge and skills to implement sustainable practices in their respective fields of study or work.

  4. Encouraging learners to think critically and creatively about environmental challenges and to develop innovative solutions.

  5. Fostering collaboration and teamwork among learners to address environmental challenges collectively.

  6. Building learners' capacity to communicate effectively about sustainable development and environmental issues with their peers, colleagues, and stakeholders.

  7. Enhancing the learners' employability and career prospects by equipping them with green skills that are in high demand in the labor market.

We have been inspired by Future Classroom Lab, as inspirational learning environment that was born in Brussels. Its teaching and learning methodology opens our minds and classrooms to the world and help us rethink the role of pedagogy, technology and design in their classrooms.

Through its six learning zones that doesn't have compulsory to be located in physical places, students can explore the essential elements in delivering 21st century learning: students' and teachers' skills and roles, learning styles, learning environment design, current and emerging technology, and societal trends affecting education.

Welcome to this amazing and green learning adventure.
