      Our project's aim and activities are quite suitable and relevant to our school cirriculum.
In our course book(silverlining 11) there is a unit about describing cities and planning.The process and tasks of the project are relevant to ages, skills, and their experience.

                Integration with the curriculum

 

Our project’s goals are relevant to the age, skills, and interests of my students and related to the fields in which they study. Although our school is a vocational and technical high school , our project topic is related to the curriculum of high school courses like Literature, English, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, School Counselling Service, Technical Art and Design. This could be every one’s interest without thinking about age.

Ayşegül Gümüşboğa- Akhisar College Anatolian and Science High School

The aims of the project are integrated with TEENWISE 9 and COUNT IN ME course books as well as their school experience. In TEENWISE 9 there is an integration of topics with Theme 1 Studying Abroad, Theme in Nature, Theme 6 Bridging Cultures; in Count in Me Theme 1 School Life, Theme 2 Plans, Theme 6 Helpful Tips, Theme 8 Digital Era. The process and tasks of the project are relevant to ages, skills, and their experience. 

TECHNICAL AND HIGH SCHOOL IN WĄGROWiEC, POLAND.

 

The project was aimed at young people. They were supposed to integrate, develop their skills and gain  new experiance.

 

I think that all the things mentioned above  were achieved by my students.

They were really engaged in that project and for sure in the meantime they realized school topics such as culture, relationships, IT skills, social life, food, crime and punishment.

Our projects aims are appropriate for our students' age, interest and skills. We can see the relation between 11th grade curriculum and our project goals in the most of themes.  'Making plans and predictions' and  'Talking on the phone' of Theme 1 ; 'Expressing likes, dislikes and interests' and 'Expressing preferences' of Theme 2; 'Expressing degrees of certainty in the past' and 'Expressing the criticism for the events in the past' of Theme 6; 

'Talking about landmarks and monuments', 'Describing cities and historic sites' and 'Asking for and giving more detailed information' of Theme 7; 'Reporting news' and 'Making interview' of Theme8; 'Describing events, places and people' and 'Asking for and giving clarification' of Theme 9; 'Expressing opinions', 'Exchanging ideas' and 'Making comments' of Theme 10 are related to our project goals.

 

Gül Remziye BEKTAŞ ALTIOK/Metin Nuran Çakallıklı Anatolian High School

 

 

 

Ou project topic and activities are directly linked to our national curriculum. 16 students that participated in this project are all 10th graders. For the 10th class level Unit 1 School Life of our national curriculum is about how a student spends time at school which is directly linked to our project 'Design Schedule of your Dream School'. In this unit students are expected to take part in conversations in everyday life at schools.

From this point and on it gives teachers and students the idea to question and dream about future schools and schools in our dreams. Another theme Unit 8 Digital Era includes students's opinions about technology, the effects of social media and of course preferences about technology.

Both topics also include ordering events, talking about personal experiences, asking for detailed information, describing events,places and people, expressing opinions and ideas, making comments. These topics are directly linked to our developmental part of the project, materials and forum.

Our project's aim and activities are quite suitable and relevant to our school cirriculum. In this project 9th, 10th and 11th grade students studied together. So all these grades relative themes can be mentioned. The activities which are related to the themes for 9th grades are Theme 1 Studying Abroad, Theme 2 Nature, Theme 6 Bridging Cultures; for 10th grades Theme 1 School Life, Theme 2 Plans, Theme 6 Helpful Tips, Theme 8 Digital Era and for 11th grades Theme 1 Making plans and predictions and  Talking on the phone, Theme 2 Expressing likes, dislikes and interests, preferences, Theme 7 Describing cities and historic sites and Asking for and giving more detailed information Theme 10 Expressing opinions, Exchanging ideas and Making comments.
