DISSEMINATING OUR PROJECT

IN CROATIA (Lotrščak)

We presented the project to Spanish colleagues at Colegio Santo Angel Madrid during our Erasmus+ group mobility from 12 to 16 February 2024. The aim of the activity were closely aligned with the aims of the Coins of Culture project, which we presented in the following video before the mobility:

In Madrid, we carried out presentations and workshops about the coins we had made and presented the work done by the partner organisations. The mobility was founded by the European Union.

After coming back, we organised similar presentations and workshop at our school.

IN ITALY

We've organized a workshop on 27 May 2024

On the 28th of May Italian students organised a workshop to spread our project and to finalise it in a relevant way. They welcomed Mr Salvo Presentino,a young entrepreneur of our city; he is the President of Young Entrepreneurs of Reggio Calabria and Mrs Marcella Davì , a representative from the National Bank of Italy.

Two students ,Chiara & Alice started by introducing the project “Coins of Culture” , the reason why they invented and created the coins and the different steps of their creation. At this point, Mrs Davì explained the function of the Bank of Italy, the ECB and gave simple notions of financial economics.Finally, she described the history of money up to cryptocurrencies, the future digital banknote, the safe use of money, possible risks and frauds. 

 Mr Presentino gave a masterclass of entrepreneurship to the etwinners,he told students the main principles of establishing and running a successful business.

The students asked him a number of questions,taking inspiration from the project topics:money,euros,cultural symbols, business ideas .

The hosts offered their congratulations to the students for the really precious and original coins created,for the attention paid, for asking relevant and intereting questions,for taking interest in economics and business at this young age.
