Beneficial insects - pollinators around us

The project focuses on the occurrence of wild pollinators and their threatened occurrence in nature. They are almost invisible, but irreplaceable for us humans. Through research, collaboration, and critical and innovative thinking, students will realize the importance of pollinators to humans. The decline of wild pollinators in nature is alarming and it is up to us how and when to act. Pollination by insects is a life-giving force that is essential for reproduction. Some species of bees and butterflies in Europe are on the verge of extinction. Pollinator habitats are disappearing due to land use change, intensive agriculture and climate change. Pesticides and other pollutants, invasive non-native species and diseases directly threaten the health of pollinators. We will try to change in our regions, in the community in the school and if we join forces, we can try to save these small but very important animals around us.
