Early Spring Day
Anna Teresa Fiori - ICS La Giustiniana - Roma, Italia
To celebrate the first day of spring, my students enjoyed an Outdoor Classroom Day. They spent the day learning and playing in nature, exploring the beauty of the season, and engaging in hands-on activities that brought their lessons to life in the fresh air.
Outdoor Classroom Day – A Creative Bee Art Adventure! 🌼🐝
On Outdoor Classroom Day, our class had a wonderful time connecting with nature while working on a creative project! 🌳✨ We spent the day outside, in the fresh air, exploring the school garden and using the materials we found to make beautiful bee drawings.
Using leaves, sticks, flowers, and other natural materials, each student created their own bee, inspired by the buzzing creatures we see in the garden. 🐝🌿 It was amazing to see how everyone used their imagination and nature’s treasures to create unique works of art.
This activity not only helped us practice our drawing skills, but also allowed us to appreciate the beauty of the environment around us. 🌍💚
We had so much fun and learned that outdoor learning can be both educational and enjoyable! What activities have you done outdoors at your school? Let us know! 👇💬

🌼🐝 Welcoming Spring in Our School Garden! 🌱🌞
Today, we celebrated the first day of spring in the best way possible—out in the garden! 🌿✨ Surrounded by nature, we observed the bees buzzing happily around the blooming Sicilian broccoli flowers we planted in our school garden. 🐝💛
It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to see firsthand how important these little pollinators are for our environment. Learning through observation makes every lesson more meaningful! 🌍🌸
Happy spring to everyone! 🌷🌞
Paloma Álvarez García - CEIP Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente - Murcia, Spain
We celebrated Early Spring Day by obersving the new plants, flowers, fruits and vegetables in the vegetable path of our school. We noticed that the plants have grown quite a bit thanks to this month's rain. We also enjoyed the scent of the orange blossoms, it is a very characteristic smell of Murcia during spring, and we love it! We also found some insects like ladybugs and bees. Spring has definitely arrived in Murcia, and we're ready to enjoy it!

Wybraliśmy się do szkolnego ogródka w poszukiwaniu oznak wiosny. Na świeżym powietrzu nasza klasa spędziła wspaniały czas, obcując z naturą podczas pracy nad naszym projektem! 🌳
Nasi uczniowie w sali lekcyjnej siali owies i cierpliwie czekali na efekty.
A w pobliskiej miejscowości zauważyliśmy bocianie gniazdo. Bociany wróciły do Polski. Wiosna naprawdę przyszła!

My students finished their day by playing a game outside as the weather got warmer. I planned an activity that required them to ask and answer theoretical information about the characteristics of bees and to run in 2 groups. We taught Science, Turkish and Physical Education lessons in a multidisciplinary way.
