Be a buddy, not a bully

Although fighting against all forms of discrimination and violence, especially bullying and harassment has been adopted by the Charter on Education for Democratic Citizenship and Human Rights Education, bullying in schools remains a persistent phenomenon. Bullying is recognized by the United Nations as a major factor in damaging the overall well-being of students, meaning the mental and physical health, causing early school leaving. Since new forms of bullying through social media are being added to the problem nowadays, teachers must find ways to prevent and combat it at school level.
