Back to Nature

These days, our children are less exposed to nature for many reasons. However, scientific research says that being in nature has many benefits. Better immunity, better concentration, improved physical and mental development, increasing curiosity and imagination,self-esteem, creativity, and many other aspects. The opportunities to explore nature are immense, allowing children and youngsters to take an active role in building their own knowledge and to have a closer contact with the environment. Physical activity in contact with nature makes children more stable and consequently less anxious, helping them to develop self-esteem and improve social skills. Reconciling physical education and the sciences will also allow students to learn different subjects of the Natural Sciences, as well as the developing an awareness of the importance of environmental conservation.
