Description

ICT Skills for Educators is an essential course for teachers, trainers, and education professionals seeking to enhance their digital competence and integrate technology effectively into their teaching. In today’s world, ICT plays a crucial role in transforming education, yet many educators still face challenges due to limited experience or training. Studies show that students often have more advanced ICT skills than their teachers, creating a gap that can hinder learning outcomes. This course addresses that gap by equipping participants with practical knowledge and hands-on experience using tools such as smart boards, web conferencing, webinars, and collaborative platforms. Emphasis is placed on shifting from traditional teacher-centered methods to learner-centered approaches, where students are actively engaged and empowered through the use of ICT. Methodology & assessment

The course methodology will ensure the active involvement of the participants in all phases, that is, prior, during and after the delivery of the course. More specifically, upon confirmation that the course will take place, the participants will receive preparatory material (if needed), which will cover all important concepts to be presented during the delivery of the course. The participants will have the opportunity to exchange feedback with the organiser of the course, ShipCon, and the trainer as well as to request any clarification related to the content of the course.
The methodology of the training is based on a combination of three important elements:
Provision of knowledge required (theory)
Use of training tools, such as case studies, videos, games, animations & exercises (practice – hands on experience)
Feedback/reflection (review)

In case participant is asking for reimbursement of the course fee less than 2 weeks before the commencement of the course then there is an admin charge of 50 Euros. In case of participant is asking for reimbursement of the course fee less than one week before the commencement of the course there is an admin charge of 100 Euros.
