LEARN ENGLISH THE FUN WAY (for teachers A2 and B1) 5 DAYS
This course is aimed at teachers and all those who want to improve their fluency in English as well as refresh their methodology. The course will focus on a blend of lecture format and practical activities based on active learning to enhance the acquisition of English as a foreign language. Participants are expected to have at least A2 level of English proficiency.
Description
The course consists of 25 didactic hours and includes the following modules:
- Introduction of participants, outline of the programme, warm ups and ice breakers
- Introduction to the course, determining personal levels and expectations, setting the goals
- Simulations and role play for development of oral skills
- Teacher generated storytelling and narrative building for development of written skills
- Individual support
- Presentation of outcomes, discussion, evaluation and closing session
- Teambuilding and networking activities
- City tour or a cultural trip
Learning objectives
- Familiarizing with the culture of English-speaking world.
- Improving the participants’ oral and written skills in English.
- Learning within the cultural context.
- Practical skills development through simulations, role-play, teacher generated storytelling and narrative building.
- Developing communication, collaboration, presentation, problem solving, negotiation, critical and creative thinking skills.
- Boosting participants’ confidence in communication in English.
- Enhancing understanding of the role and the potential English language has in education and how it can be used to enhance academic achievement and internationalization.
- Improving English fluency (official language of the course).
- Promoting intercultural awareness.
- Sharing experiences of interactive methodologies for learning English from different organizations in order to help each of us to be more effective in our work.
- Providing insights into different education systems.

All the materials will be made available to the participants in digital form upon completion of the course.
Certification details
Certificate includes the topic, dates and location of the course. We can list the record of learning outcomes on the Europass Mobility Document on request of participants.

Course package content:
The course fee includes tution and materials for the course. Accommodation, meals and transportation are not included and participants are expected to organize and cover for these expenses by themselves. We do not charge anything extra apart from the 400 EUR course fee.

Cancellation & changes:
Free cancellation up to 30 days before the start. After that, the reservation is not refundable. Changes in name and profile of the participant are possible any time before the start of the course. In case of extraordinary circumstances we will offer a free re-schedualing to be used within 6 months.
