Promoting diversity and inclusion in schools in Europe
The Eurydice report puts particular focus on learners who are most likely to be disadvantaged and/or discriminated against in schools, including students of a particular gender, pupils from different migrant, ethnic and religious backgrounds, LGBTIQ+ pupils and pupils with special educational needs or disabilities. It presents existing targeted policy initiatives promoting learners’ access to high-quality inclusive mainstream education.
In addition to a comparative overview of policies and measures across 39 European education systems, this report shows many national examples, which showcase some of the most recent initiatives taken across Europe.
