EIT FoodEducators promoting healthy and sustainable food choices among young people

The easily accessible, science-based food education lesson plans and learning materials enhance students’ learning and help them become better informed, conscious consumers of the future. The programme is represented through 15 national hubs across the EU. It offers downloadable lesson plans on the foodeducators.eu website in national languages addressing the following themes:
- Food and health,
- Food and sustainability,
- Food science and food system,
- Agrifood jobs and careers.
The programme’s main learning objectives and outcomes are to improve systems thinking and mapping, sustainable lifestyles and healthy eating behaviors.
