Aims of “Learning and Teaching English through CLIL” courses:
  • To explore CLIL approaches
  • To discover resources suitable for the cross-curricular teaching of English in schools
  • To refresh and enhance participant’s linguistic skills
  • To discover a different Education System and the roles and responsibilities within it, from Government to educational establishments
  • To enhance the professional and cultural awareness of participants
  • To explore efficient and innovative use of ICT tools

Methodology & assessment

English language and methodology workshops: language and cultural development, language teaching and learning methodology, discovering new cross-curricular teaching resources and techniques linked to a CLIL approach; internationalisation of the curriculum.
Formative assessment ; Summative assessment (final presentation by participants) ; Daily self-assessment through a learning log ; Peer assessment through organised activities.

Certification details

Course provider issues a Certificate of Attendance for each participant.
