Description

Objectives of the training activity:

To update participants’ English language skills through formal and informal conversation, grammar, speaking, listening, reading and writing activities
To enhance participants’ language learning and teaching methodology
To develop cultural awareness and understanding of Ireland/the British Isles
To promote the exchange of teaching practices and develop ideas for use in the Classroom
To enhance participants’ professional development and encourage them to reflect on personal practice

An EATP certified course. Please note that our stated course fee is for a standard 8-day course. Shorter courses will incur a lower course fee. Course Fees will also vary depending on the host country.

Methodology & assessment

English language workshops: language and cultural development, methodology of language teaching.
Formative assessment ; Summative assessment (final presentation by participants) ; Daily self-assessment through a learning log ; Peer assessment through organised activities.

Cancellation & changes:

Cancellation and refund to participants is possible up to 31 calendar days before the mobility start date. After that date, a refund will not be issued (even in case of force majeure) but every effort will be made to accommodate a change of date.
