Webinar information

Description

An inspiring webinar hosted within the eTwinning featured group 'Creative and Innovative classrooms - thinking outside the box'. This February, we turn the spotlight on the essential skill of critical thinking.

A child’s ability to think critically and engage in metacognition—thinking about their own thinking—serves as the foundation for “learning how to learn,” ultimately promoting lifelong learning. Recognising this pivotal role, the presenter showcases classroom learning experiences to illustrate how nurturing children’s thinking leads to deep and authentic learning. Participants explored how research-based strategies can make children’s thinking visible in the classroom, allowing children to reflect on their thought processes and enabling teachers to observe, evaluate, and guide these processes for further improvement.
