About the speakers

Ana Leandro

Ana Leandro’s academic and initial professional background is Environmental Engineering. For more than eight years, Ana supported the development of municipal sustainable energy action plans and low emission development strategies, during which she developed physical and digital resources to support awareness raising and learning. She also facilitated numerous training workshops for diverse target-groups, including teachers, students and technical staff. In the last five years, Ana supported the European Commission in the evaluation of innovation and coordination proposals in the fields of environment and energy and supported several UN agencies in the implementation and management of international multi-stakeholder initiatives connecting technical and scientific knowledge with planning and other public decision-making processes. Since June 2023, Ana supports the European Climate Pact secretariat in the development of processes and resources for citizen participation in climate action.
