This Erasmus course is designed for adult educators who are interested in incorporating yoga and meditation practices into their classroom teaching. The course is ideal for those who wish to enhance their personal well-being and mindfulness skills, as well as improve their ability to support their students’ emotional and mental health.

Description

Over the course of the program, participants will be introduced to a variety of yoga and meditation techniques, including asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), and mindfulness meditation. The course will also explore the science behind these practices and their potential benefits for both personal and professional use.

Through interactive workshops and experiential learning activities, participants will develop a deeper understanding of the connections between physical movement, breath, and mental focus. They will learn to apply these techniques in their own lives as well as in their teaching practices. The course will also provide opportunities for participants to reflect on their own experiences and how they can apply what they have learned to their specific teaching contexts and daily routine.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Understand the Principles of Yoga and Meditation:
    • Gain a foundational knowledge of yoga postures (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama), and mindfulness meditation.
    • Understand the historical background and philosophical foundations of yoga and meditation.
  2. Enhance Personal Well-Being:
    • Develop personal mindfulness and yoga practices to improve physical health, mental clarity, and emotional balance.

Innovative digital tools that we have developed specifically for the purpose of the course will be utilized, but digital tools that are open and available to the public will also be used.

    The package includes:

    The provision of lessons, beverages and snacks during the course, free entrance to specific museums and a guided tour of the main attractions of the city, accompanied by an official guide. 
    There is also the possibility - upon agreement - to provide a complete, all-inclusive package, where we can organize for you accommodation, meals, transportation and guided tours for the entire duration of your stay.

  • Cancellation & changes:

    In case of cancellation 30 days or more before the start of the program, a full refund is offered. In case of cancellation 15 to 29 days before the start of the program, 50% is refunded, while in case of cancellation 1 to 14 days before the program, no refund can be made. If, however, a serious emergency can be proven to be the cause of the cancellation, we are prepared to refund the entire amount in full, up to the last minute.
